Losing It

You would think that after 9 years of parenting I'd be used to the things the kids do and be able to keep my composure when it is not to my liking. NOT SO!!! Last night I lost it completely! I went up to tuck the girls in only to find a colossal mess in their room. Picture dirty and clean clothes on every surface, wet towels, toys and food particles all mixed together on the floor. I saw red then went off like a banshee warrior. I cannot for the life of me understand the thinking of these children. What is fun about living in a room that is so nasty that rats wouldn't even want to visit. We work together to fix up and organize only to have them throw their crap everywhere but where it belongs. I can hardly stand to be in there and their Daddy won't go in at all. Mind you, I am not some anal housekeeper by any means. What do I have to look forward to if a 9 and 6 year old make this kind of mess. The teenage years are gonna be something else. Maybe I will medicate before then.

My First Blog

Ok, I am gonna try this blogging thing. I spend at least 3o minutes every day reading other's blogs so it is time to try it for myself. Hope I can figure it out and keep up with it. Let me know how I am doing.
