Anna Grace's Turn

This is Anna Grace posting! A few weeks ago i went to Camp Pee Dee. My sister went last week.I had lots of fun at camp and it was my 2nd year. It was Sara Abbett's 1st. I made lots of new friends and met some new counselors. I met Amanda, Tallon,Christina, and Ashley. Some friends i met were Ashley, Madison, Eileen, and Gracyn. I wish I could have seen them again since I left camp, but i didn't. I wish Sara Abbett was here with me so she could write about her time at camp. She is out with her friend Kate. I was in cabin 5 with my counselor and 4 others i knew 2 of the people in my cabin already. I wish i could go back go Camp Pee Dee!!!!!!!

Spring Music Program

The annual Spring music program was April 28. It is always so much fun to watch the children perform or not at their programs. Mrs. Broach did another great job getting all of our angels ready.

Taylor Swift Rocks

My girls finally got their Christmas gift last night.

This is the poem I wrote and rolled up in a Taylor Swift poster for them to open on Christmas morning:

This year for Christmas, as your special gift,
Mommy and Daddy are giving you Taylor Swift.

Just look at her picture. Isn’t she pretty?
Just wait ‘til you see her live in the city.

On April 30, in Columbia we’ll be,
Gracie, Rabbie and a lucky mommy.

Picture to Burn, Love Song, and Tim McGraw too
Are a few of the songs she may sing for you.

This poster will remind you every day
Of the concert that is still four long months away.

I hope you’re excited ‘cause I can’t wait,
To hang out with my girls for a special date.

Merry Christmas angel girls.
Love,
Mommy and Daddy

Our group ready to hit the road.

Lacie taking it all in.

Meg wasn't too sure about the crowd and noise at first
but she got used to it an had a great time.
Gray loved every minute.
Rab was in awe of Miss Swift.

So the picture isn't great but do you think she was having fun?
Livvie singing along
She was SOOO excited. I bet she thanked me a hundred times.
It was a late night for our girls.

We all had a great time. The girls took nearly 200 pictures during the show and I think they thanked me and hugged me at least that many times. I am looking forward to the next concert. I'm just not sure what or when that may be.

Late Night Ball Games = Early Morning Grouches

We stayed out pretty late last night at the ball field watching a number of ball games. Josh's game started at 5:30 and after being beaten soundly was over by 6:00. Maybe next time Rangers. I packed up our stuff and was heading home thinking it would be nice to have an early night for a change but we decided to stay to watch Cameron's game at 6:30. He is after all my nephew and it seems wrong to miss his game when he came early and watched ours. They played really well and won their game. Good job Phillies! Did we go home after that? Uh no. Our sweet friend Adrian asked me to please watch her game at 7:00. I had already missed all but a few innings of her games at school and could not miss this one as well. So...we stayed at the ball field until 8:30 then went home and I fixed supper. We didn't get the children to bed until nearly 10:00. Mind you bed time at our house is 8:00. Was our house a pleasant place to be this morning? Not at all. Josh was beside himself. Anna Grace fixed herself poptarts for breakfast. The last two poptarts to be exact. Josh cried for nearly 15 minutes because she would not give him one. Once he settled on having cereal Sara Abbett lost her cool and cried because it was hers. I not so calmly explained that nothing in the house was hers but mine and her Daddy's because we paid for it so she needed to hush and eat. Finally, with everyone fed and tears dried we head out the door to possibly get to school before the late bell. Alas that did not happen. As we were heading out the door Josh started crying AGAIN because he had not done his homework the day before. To the table we went to finish the work I had told him to do before we left the house yesterday. They were only a couple minutes late but late none the less.
Life is crazy. Life is good.

Spring Means BALL

Cameron

We are in full swing with baseball and softball this spring. It seems we have either a practice or a game every night of the week and sometimes on the weekends as well. It is hard for me to admit but, I LOVE ball. I have never been much of a sports fan but watching my children, nieces and nephews on the field is so exciting for me. I have turned into that mom that others love to hate, screaming for our babies on that field. Tim is helping coach both Rab and Josh's teams so we are always at the ball field. I enjoy also visiting with all of the other ball parents and grandparents as we hang out. Life is so good!

Gone Fishin'

We spent Friday afternoon at a great little fishing spot. It has been many years since I have baited a hook or taken a fish off the line but somehow it came back to me. The kids were catching fish so fast that Tim and I couldn't keep up with them and I didn't have time to take many pictures. A fish fry is in our near future.

What Do You Get...
