Josh's class went on a field trip last Friday to Ovis Hill Farm in Timmonsville. This is the BEST field trip we have gone on. The children learn so much about different aspects of the farm and get to do lots of hands on activities. They painted gourds, made butter, did a little square dancing, made bracelets from wool yarn and learned a lot about sheep. They even got to take turns feeding a calf and lamb a bottle. My favorite part was watching the border collie herd the sheep. It fascinates me each time I get to see this particular demonstration.
