Baseball season has begun! Josh is playing coaches pitch and Sara Abbett has decided to try her hand at softball. We have not had a lot of practice as the weather has not cooperated this year but we're off and running now with games. Rab's first game was Friday night. We only have one 8 and under softball team so they divided the team and the girls played each other. Good practice for them though not an ideal situation. I took one picture of her through the fence then the battery died in my camera. Real cool mom. Take my word for it when I say she is adorable in her uniform and so are all the other precious girls on her team. Tonight was Josh's first game. He was pumped and ready to head to the field an hour before game time. Unfortunately he has not had enough sleep lately and was in a horrible mood by game time. We were missing more than half of our Yankees team but played anyway in the freezing wind with our five fellas. If you have never been to a t-ball or coach's pitch game you should put it at the top of your to do list. The children were all so cute but fairly clueless about how to do anything more than play in the dirt or pick grass. I was proud of Josh in spite of it all though. He is a pretty good athlete and does really well in any sport he tries. Life is good.
